Bennet and Ender blessed us with 4 wonderful and lively puppies yesterday morning - 2 boys and 2 girls. In keeping with a more classic literature theme for Bennet, we have gone with a ‘The Secret Garden’ theme: Dickon, our largest puppy (male), Colin, our smallest puppy (male with a small star), Lilias, female with a small star, and Mary, our female with the most attitude already.

Bennet again was incredibly efficient with her whelping, especially after throwing us off a bit with her reverse progesterone numbers. Puppy one was born at 09:20, while puppy four was born by 10:08! Similar to her prior litter, Bennet was stealthy about having her first puppy, and tried to hide him behind the whelping box - talk about surprises .

As always, we cannot wait to share their upbringing with you, and we are looking forward to seeing what lies ahead for these four!
